SFMTA rail crew working on Muni Metro tracks during Fix It! Week. Our maintenance teams work hard all year long to make Muni safer and more reliable for our more than 500,000 daily riders. We are proud to look back on the projects they completed through 2025 Fix It! Week and Fix It! Weekend programs. During these events, Muni Metro shuts down early so crews can complete work that isn’t possible during regular service. This makes it safe for crews to access tunnels, trackways and platforms.
